CARGA DE AGROTÓXICOS QUE SAIU DE QUARAÍ É APREENDIDA PELA PRF EM URUGUAIANA

A Polícia Rodoviária Federal apreendeu, na tarde desta sexta-feira (28), uma carga irregular de agrotóxicos na BR-290, em Uruguaiana. O material, que havia saído de Quaraí, totaliza mais de 300 litros.

Durante fiscalização, os policiais abordaram um Chevrolet Classic com placas de Itaqui. No interior do veículo foram encontrados 16 galões de 20 litros e dois pacotes de 200g de herbicidas de origem uruguaia, cuja importação e comercialização não são autorizadas no Brasil. A carga estava distribuída de forma inadequada pelo automóvel.

O condutor, de 34 anos, informou que transportava o material de Quaraí para Itaqui. Ele foi encaminhado à polícia judiciária, juntamente com o veículo e os produtos apreendidos.

A PRF reforça que o transporte e o comércio irregulares de agrotóxicos representam riscos à saúde e ao meio ambiente.
